CyberLaunch Academy participates in AARMS camp for Girl Guides

Girl Guides from around the Maritimes visited the University of New Brunswick for a weekend packed full of activities hosted by the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences and CyberLaunch Academy. This event has the initiative of increasing awareness among young girls about engaging in STEM. As partner co-organizers of this event we had the pleasure of hosting a variety of exciting computer science courses for the girls.

The Girl Guides of the Maritimes got to experience programming, coding drones and robots, learn binary communication and got their hands “dirty” doing computer animate! Our sessions were filled with excitement as the girl guides learned to program.

Thank you to AARMS for making us part of this great effort to introduce The Girl Guides of the Maritimes to the wonderful world future computer science and mathematics!
